The main aim of this department is to contribute to the education of young
girls and boys under the guidance of the values and principles of the Christian
Brothers. Ever since the founding of the school sports competitions have
been an unparalleled way to teach students to take part without egotism,
showing a sense of fair play and fraternal attitude to their fellow team
members and occasional rivals.
The Physical Education
Department is in charge of the following activities:
- Curricular activities (gymnastics and games).
 Team
sports (Football, Hockey, Rugby and Athletics) include two practice
sessions after school hours.- Special Activities ( organization of tournaments
against foreign colleges- especially from Argentina. Family day sporting
activities, Inter-house tournaments).
The
programs are fully updated and evaluated - they start at pre-school level
and comprehend all years until the end of 4th year secondary(Year 10)
Weekends are packed
with activities supplementing the weekdays' programs and giving an opportunity
for families to get together.
